A MULLI x SPACE JAM PRESS RELEASE

Released: 30th June

Store: www.amulliart.com

This month brings the exciting new release of 8-bit artist and designer A Mulli’s Space Jam t-shirt, the first piece in a forthcoming regular drop of streetwear featuring his unique and intricate designs, which have already caught the attention of Hip Hop artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa.

His upcoming debut T-Shirt which drops 30th June features the characters of 90’s basketball film Space Jam - “being a basketball and Hip Hop fan growing up in the 90’s, this film combining cartoon and film inspired my work. Wile E Coyote was my favourite character because he was always running around chasing road runner but never quite making it and falling flat on his face, Mulli reminisces. The shirts will be available for £19.99 in a range of colours (black, white, navy, orange and baby pink) – exclusively from www.amulliart.com. To celebrate the release the first 50 people to pre-order will receive 5 limited edition stickers.

Mulli has been passionate about art since childhood and has been drawing from an early age, alongside his love for 90’s video games - he studied games design in college, but the passion for drawing always remained a hobby on the side. He describes Hip Hop as the biggest inspiration for his art and started out drawing pictures of rappers - his first big moment followed when he uploaded onto his social media pages a drawing of UK Grime artist Skepta (the first to be done in the 8-bit pixellated style he’s now recognised for), who noticed and reposted the drawing, praising his work.

This was only the first of many global artists to discover Mulli’s talent, and since then he has continued to build up an impressive portfolio - having worked on various big projects such as designing tour posters for Chance The Rapper, and album artwork for Stormzy’s “Know Me From”, the Manchester-based artist has come a long way since his days of drawing on the side while working at Nando’s! But Hip Hop isn’t all A Mulli has to offer - he’s created a variety of different designs featuring characters from TV shows including Game Of Thrones, and 90’s video games such as Street Fighter
